I have been an investor in Franklin Templeton Funds with major holdings in the FTF Global Equity Fund since it was launched 10 years ago in Singapore as well as the FTF Emerging Markets Fund. I wish to share my investment experience in that the funds have more than doubled its NAV since I invested in them.

My guiding investment principle is to align with the Templeton investment philosophy of value in seeking out the best global companies, to stay the course of being invested long term, as well as dollar cost averaging by making regular investments.

It is always an exciting moment whenever we catch Dr. Mark Mobius' and Templeton fund managers' comments in the news and media. Templeton views are clear and straight to the point in comparison to some other fund managers in the market.

Holding the funds for ten years was also an experience to participate in Dr. Mark Mobius and Templeton fund managers' investment style which has produced constant performance for the funds. I kept faith with Templeton during the Internet bubble dot com crisis, Iraq war, 9/11 terrorist attacks and experienced that the Templeton funds recovered fast from all crisis and maintains its winning track record to this day.
