Capabilities A broad range of equity strategies offering long-term capital appreciation

Our Philosophy

All our strategies are based on the common belief that market participants can have a short-term perspective and can underestimate the value created by sustainable growth. That growth may come in the form of revenue, cash flow, or earnings for several of our strategies, or dividend income for others. We conduct fundamental, bottom-up, collaborative research focusing on companies that we believe have sustainable growth characteristics—those meeting our criteria of growth potential, quality and valuation.

Growth

  • Focus on companies with potential to produce sustainable earnings and cash flow growth
  • Evaluate the long-term market opportunity and competitive structure of the industry to target current and emerging leaders

Quality

  • Seek companies with strong and improving competitive positions in attractive markets
  • Seek to identify talented management teams as well as financial strength reflected in capital structure, gross and operating margins, free cash flow generation and returns on capital

Valuation

  • Consider a range of potential outcomes based on assessment of multiple scenarios
  • Consider whether or not security prices fully reflect the balance of the sustainable growth opportunities relative to the business and financial risks
