Scott Glasser

Scott is the Chief Investment Officer at ClearBridge Investments and a member of the Executive Committee at Franklin Templeton.

He joined the firm in 1993 and has 34 years of investment industry experience.

Scott joined the firm as a Research Analyst, was named a Portfolio Manager one year later, and eventually also served as Co-Director of Research. He became Co-Chief Investment Officer in 2012 and sole Chief Investment Officer in 2021, providing oversight of all investment strategies. In addition to his management responsibilities, Scott was a Portfolio Manager on the ClearBridge Appreciation Strategy for over 20 years, and Portfolio Manager on the ClearBridge Dividend Strategy and ClearBridge Large Cap Growth Strategy. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he was a Credit Analyst specializing in fixed income investments for Bear Stearns.

Scott received an M.B.A. in finance from Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. in political science and Spanish from Middlebury College.
